The rapid entry system is designed to help fire departments, businesses, and homeowners work together to preserve lives and property. Key box purchase and installation are the responsibility of the owner​.

After receiving your lock box, follow these steps:

1. Install the lock box in a clearly visible, easily accessible location near the main entrance.

2. Mount the box no higher than five feet above ground level to ensure safe and efficient access during emergency response.
